Smiles* I decided today to treat my grandson with the birds in the bathroom flying loose as he took his bath today..they need an little excerise anyway, and they are easy to catch there, door closed..to .put back in the cages. I think I told you I bought an new little yellow bird.. named "Aries" and that she was one tough little bird to get out of the pet box and into the cage for her "biting" me, I thought probably raised "wild" in an masive bird reproduction set-up of some kind. and today when I let them out and I noticed that this little bird's wings had been clipped back so far, it twittered on the floor "off balance" ..for an bird that would be like sending someone out on the battle field in an engagment and not giving them an rifle to protect themselves...why it must be petrified of humans by now. So I picked it up off the floor as it can't fly at all, and left the cage door open and just talked to it an bit today and the other birds came and flew back to it...they seem to know it needs protection/help like I do. I hope in time its wings grow back and we can establish an freindship of some kind. Feel so sorry for it. They all seemed to like the music on the radio down low, listen tot eh water running and the atmosphere of getting out and about an bit today. Kids only have about 7 days left of school for this year...it's going fast. Rainy day weather...we spent the day cooking an playing the wii for the most part. |

You know I have silk plants througout my house, I actually at one time had thought of retiring and was preparing the house for doing that with the decor...wanted books and silk plants and nothing much kids would want to swipe if they broke in..but since then have moved my kids in....to get their stuff swiped outside instead I guess...bad and sad. Yes, they are tiny birds. I have not liked this particular bird shop for some time. Just some of the things they do in general. I don't think they have the quality the other store in town has. But maybe its good I have the bird..."God" knows it needs someone benveloent toward it right now and understanding...has handled birds before. If it's wings don't grow back, it could be left totally disabled from someone's "stupidity". The other two seem to know and help "protect" it right now also. It's more of an baby then an adult bird. It will probably take me it's lifetime and then some, to repair the damage another human being has done to it's little soul...and it understands there are good people out in the world also. The bathroom is the best place to exercise them, it can be disinfected from top to bottom easily. The same thing goes for an little foster kid I was reading about in the hosptial from it's foster parents, this makes the second case of abuse in the same area by foster parents, different ones though, last one an teenager..died... and they are looking into the area in general as to the care of its children. they also convicted an man whom had pimped his 14 year old daughter as an prostitute for money to feed an drug habit yesterday...he was not Mexican, his named was something like Alderson/Anderson..his admitting to guilt stopped her from tesifying against him...he most likely didn't' want to hear about it maybe...in denial perhaps?... They picked her up with an 42 year old man he had prostituted he rout to. One wonders...when will these kind of people stop...may God watch over the little ones...because indeed they are "suffered" unto thee in life. It's looking like an nice day here also, but rain is suppose to come in by tonight again,,,but next week,,,our first days in the low 70's so perhaps there is some progress toward "summer" yet. I am quietly waiting though, with an lot of things to do also. |

See, it don't pay to stay around here these days I guess. You achieve more by getting involved with things outside the house. |
