Hi every one!

Having a rough day here! Erin came home from her dad's very late last night so she didn't get to bed till close to midnight THEN she fell off the couch this morning and busted her lip!! Blood everywhere!! What a mess. So, I'll be taking her into school late today. I really want to call out, but....oh the guilt!

Well, Krissy, I got some rest myself and things are getting there this morning so as to say...need some Redwood "stain" for the fencing, apparently bought the wrong kind recently. You get Jason to take you for an ride in his "Para-skeet" van or not? After we talked about those little "teardrop" campers, by golly one showed up recently for sale in this area...out by the highway.

They are packing up the search equiptment and rescuer's On Kyron, the little boy that's missing, we are into day 11 now...and are taking it into an criminal investigation and an $25,000 reward for any kind of information of him. I kind of thought this with the "FBI" showing up relatively soon after it happened. Hope someday he shows up unharmed. May the $25,000 will lure them into sending him back here? in some way.

I guess you  know that I'm stacking up lots of work to do for this summer and everyone has already said, "we don't think we will go much any place, to much needing down around here". I'd like to say..."Oh Poo!"...but it won't do me much good right now...Yes, I also wonder where "Stephanie" is at...looks like there's house projects galore coming up here soon...think she's been over-welmed by the moving? ... there' s always later on perhaps...after the work is done.

One good thing I found out...the local college sent me an pamphlet that says after 62 years old, tutition rates are 50 per cent off. That's sounds intriguing to me. For now, I better get with it, within three days all the kids are home for the summer...we have moving to do and cleaning up afterwards. So best go get the paint for the fence.

You never know what life may have in store do you?

Years ago we offered a very old friend a place to stay with us and at the time it was turned down.  Now suddenly she is virtually homeless and has phoned me today in distress.

Of course she must come to stay she's nearly 80.

But sometimes I wish that it would just rain and not pour!!! lol

Just listening to BBC Radio Berkshire's news this evening where they announced that the Order of the Garter had its annual Procession of the Garter in Windsor Castle today and is England's oldest Order founded by Edward III in 1948..........errrr........methinks that's not quite right.

I think 1348 might be a bit nearer the mark, and this celebration of the Order started in 1948 on the Monday before Royal Ascot racing week.

The first race at Ascot was 11 August 1711 after Queen Anne decided it would be a good place to gallop horses. Today's Queen Anne Stakes is in memory of her and her inaugural race in 1711.
