Hello everyone...I'm in here on my kid's computer, as mine is contiually rolling and blinking lights when I try to log in..I guess over in earthboppin.net the "hacker" is back picking on Calibabe and she's not taking it nicely, she's an web master herself...so rather we all got hacked or not, unsure at this moment. World War III has been going on over that hacker bothering us for some time now.

I am now officially on Social Security, I collect it starting July and get the first check in August...it doesn't amount to much, I could not find an place to live on it that's for sure...let alone feed me, pay utilites, or have transporation. My hubby thinks it will help some at least until he collects his and puts me on it. I can though, they tell me, almost make $14,000 more in working wages before the check would be affected. I told them not to worry, that I'm lucky to get one number on it when I buy an "lottery ticket" these days...my closest chance at employemnt these days...lol.

Kids have started moving. We took out three truck loads yesterday...my house should look pretty devastated and empty by the time they leave. Kind of like starting from scratch all over again...beds and tables will be primarily left, my computer (not functioning properly) and the worn out sofa's, curtains, and flooring. There's lots of painting to do also. But perhaps "in time". If I'm not in for an bit, its either the computer or else the repairing going on. They farmed out the kids for this weekend with an old neighbor down the street one time, (family with the little girl that was on the motor bike in my last avatar picture) and came in an got their bed last night before the thunderstorms started, still was sprinkling rain as they left though, and said they were planning to try to get the boxes they have now unloaded. Her work buddies bought them an new small microwave oven. She still has to get an washer and dryer. Between us, the rest will be taken care of pretty much. I took most my pantry out to them also yesterday...they shouldn't have to buy much in food over summer...while she's not working. In short I guess you could say this moving took my first Social Security check perhaps...but it saves me in worrying about them...eases my mind. Besides...I think I got the chance to throw in their favorite food snacks also. Got grand-daughter one crazy about Kraft Macaroni and cheese...another likes "Oatmeal cookies" and the third peanut butter an jelly sandwhiches. They knew when they got home from school, they could have this any time they wanted, as dinner was ussually late before it got made nightly.

To much rain, I lost my garden and 9 zuchinni plants to slugs..but the weather has not helped, I was talking to Mrs. Cornett yesterday, they sold the land for the entire housing project where I live,, as she's older then I am, last year I shared home grown tomatoes with her..huge ones..(when Alma was alive she use to share Peach Chutney with me yearly)..and I told Joanne half my tomato plants are black leafed from to much rain...and they have grown over two months to liittle more then an hand higher..we might next week start to have an few days of in the 70's (yet the longest day of the year is Monday) and should be about 10 degrees higher then that by now every day...we are barely getting out of the 60's now and then. (April weather around here). I would be surprised if they were still selling the veggies for gardens ..as most retailers see the season gone pretty much by July first..with this wacky weather... they need to reconsider what they sell and when. Store up food, as I was also just reading islands all over the Pacific Ocean are sinking due to climate change also..people being re-located now in the thousands. As they re-locate, the weather will not help us in giving them "free" food out of gardens exactly. We are already economically strapped here. They said the people could not afford to pay high tomato prices when they lost their crops down in the south recently..and rather then sell them for lower prices,,,farmers let them "rot" in their fields. Economically we couldn't of afforded them anyway...do to unemployment for most of us.  Most likely they did it to get Federal Govt substities though in profits lost. Something needs done about that also....when lower prices can't  be given readily. It was "wasted" for the most part. They wonder why we are, as an country, in debt, people out of work, and there's the hunger problem going on. Can't they see what they are doing, and how they go about things unproductive for everyone and is "wrong"? I go for now...enjoy the summer as you can...I'll be busy it looks like...Later.

It seems a long time since I was able to greet you all in the morning and wish you all a great day.  Life is slowly getting back to "normal".  I have missed you all.

But where is Peggy, Stephanie, Ruth, James & Shaun who were to be seen regularly in the forums - where are you????
