Hello James.  Have just finished a 8 hour teaching day.  Totally exhausted and very sore feet - standing all the time!   At least that is my excuse for sitting down at the computer now.Laughing

Ron, your problem is rediculous to have to be suffering ... as I have pills for everything from diarreah to constipation these days..due to the heart medications I take...if it's Cohen's disease you think you might have...go look it up in Austrailia... as they are the leading country to it's cure these days. For many it's simply an matter of eating more bulk foods in the form of veggies. Lay off the booze and the asprin..smoking...it eats your stomach lining up over the years. I am told constantly never take an asprin without something to help my stomach at the same time, such as fruit flavored yogurt. They sell over the counter pills to stop diareah also...but you can get them prescription strength also from your doctor.

Glad to hear your feeling a bit better, Ron.  Have you talked to your Dr. about probiotics?  A lot of people with gastro issues have found them to be very helpful.

No Ruth I haven't, but I will research it a little and see what it involves.

We are not now having to 'bulk buy' toilet rolls so things are getting much better. That's a good sign isn't it? lol

Hi Ron:

Glad you're on the mend.  Hopefully your Dr. will have an open mind about it.  Over here when you ask your Dr. about any natural or nutritional supplements that might help a condition, they look at you like your speaking Greek.  But if you ask for some pharmaceutical, well, they're right there ready to write you a script.  The doctors that do provide natural remedies as opposed to drug therapy are the ones not covered by insurance.  Probiotics are nothing more than the "good" bacteria that live in your gut that help digest food properly.  As we age, they tend to diminish, so a supplement is often helpful.

He might.  Is it 9:30 there?  When do you change your clocks to daylight savings time this year?
