We have been watching and as I am so claustrophobic I am amazed at their bravery and so thankful to the rescue team

I was wondering about that! I would hope they would be compensated for what they had to endure!!!

I'd bet that they never have to work again Jason. They have apparently already had offers for the film rights!

The 16th miner has just made it safely to the surface. Without doubt a very courageous bunch of men, along with their rescuers. Very well done whoever you may be!

I shouldn't imagine they would ever want to go down a mine again anyway!

This is an amazing and incredible rescue operation, and very moving to watch.

Thank you Roses for starting this thread.  We don't have non-stop news and I hadn't heard of this incredible rescue until I read your post and googled for information. It is also wonderful that so many people from so many organisations and nations have got together to effect this amazing rescue operation.
