The 2 feet wide capsule is at the bottom of the mine where the miner is strapped in, with oxygen, telecommunications contact, and a camera. He like the other's will be monitored throughout the journey. Miner number 24 will soon be on his way up to the surface.

He has just started the journey.

The capsule has arrived at the bottom of the mine, for miner number 26. The return journey has just begun.

I will be off to bed now, but will report on the safe arrival of miner 26.

I wish the remainder a safe journey...

Miner number 26 is safe and sound on the surface! That leaves seven of the original group to be rescued and then 5 members of staff who went down to help in various ways.

I hope to hear that all ended well in the morning.

Thank you to all those involved in this dramatic rescue that has clearly put Chile on the map!

God bless them all...

Nite all.
