Good Day (21)

Where has this year gone?  I just read somewhere that it's only seven weeks until the New Year. How can that be? 

This year saw the sudden passing of two very young (well, over 50 but still too young for death) aquaintences. They went so quickly, finding out about cancer one month and three months later gone. It really brings it home how precious every day of our lives are. And how we take it for granted.

None of us know when it's our turn, so lets make something out of every single day, and forget about the petty upsets that can crowd out our enjoyment of life.

Life really can be good, sometimes we just have to look a little harder, but it's there.

Oh dear, I ramble.

It's going to be a good weekend, even if all it seems I do is housework.  

I agree Sue, the older we get the quicker the weeks/year seem to go!
