We finally passed the torch to the next generation for the feast. My niece is hosting this year's get together. Yay! I only have to make stuffing balls and bring wine and my flour sifter and arrive early to teach her how to make gravy.

Half price!!! Not to mention "Macy's" tucked in an sample of the new perfume they have been advertising on TV that I was wondering about...I saw something that was well worth the price in an pool table also...because it came apart completely but when set up had all the features of an big one like many game rooms have. Pricier then many of them, it was still an true bargain at $399. My brother found an used pool table from an pub one time and set it over...it was so big the only room we really had to manuver around it decently was the double garage. WE don't have it now...as it went through all 27 of the kids here in tne nieghborhood growing up years ago. I like the idea behind this one I saw in the paper this morning....you could fold it down and still use the garage if you needed to. Anyway...tomarrow is going to be something else out there "shopping" I have an funny feeling. Yes, Ruth since 1976 there's only been two years I've not made the Thanksgiving Dinner for everyone by myself for "days" on end...until this year...I only had the salads to do. They are indeed sitting in the refrigerator ready now to take out...I finished off the devil eggs just an bit ago...just didn't taste right to me...and figured it out...I forgot the mustard...so I dripped that over the yolks and mashed it in somewhat..and sprinkled the works with parsely leaves....and Leslie closest store is 8 miles away so she was making her own powedered sugar from scratch at her house. Ron, I was watching on TV this morning the Prince William Pottery Company rolling out commenorative Mugs for the Royal Wedding coming up this Spring. At least they picked an decent design for them. Well, I suppose I need to get back to those sales ads...awesome!!!!....but I also need to think about what I'm going to wear today also. Do something with my hair also....so I better get going for now...(you know us ladies)....smiles* |
