Teddy boys, Krissy, were young males of the late 1950's early 60's that used to hang out in local dance clubs/cafes listening to 'rock n roll' music. Thick black hair combed into a big quif, long jacket and tight jeans. boot-lace tie and crepe-soled shoes. The 'down-side' of these guys (gangs) were they were known for carrying 'flick-knives' and knuckledusters.

Teddy Boy fashion had a lot in common with John Travalto in Grease, if you have watched that Krissy.  Although those in England I think were a bit more aggressive.  Otherwise the mannerisms and the hair combing etc., were very similar.

At least 'Teddy Boys' didn't walk around with their backsides hanging out. If anything it was really only about a rather nifty suit, swede chukka boots and a decent hair style.

Hair styles of today are mostly rubbish because the lazy b....y kids can't be bothered to get up in the morning, wash, or yet pull a comb through their hair!

There, that should wind a few up! Lol

LOL!! You are funny Ron! I'm lucky with my girls. They are clean...mostly...lol!! No my Sam is 16 and is a jeans and sneakers kind of girl, but cleans up nicely when she has too. No makeup, easy hair...she's very naturally pretty.
