I was not in here to much when there was those two hillbilly type characters in here...playin like corn pone in an afternoon day cloudiness...and spittin out wizdoms. But I do remember them an bit. I think I offered some of mine...Life is like an bowl of Cherry's..if your an Cherry.  Something on that order. Forget at times.

My latest book I'm reading is about as confusing as can be...for every chapter I read..we have to continually re-hash the thoughts of this guy on what could happen if he does this or that...he has indeed so far supposedly met up with some people that have come from an time warp hole...he thinks...he's still not sure it an fabricated hoax. The book is an murder mystery.

Elton John was in the newspaper...he says he won't probably be going to the Royal wedding, as he hasn't been invited and that's OK because he was not well acquainted with Prince William...when he rewrote the song "Candle in the Wind" for Diana's passing. Indeed we had at that time an "web site" where anyone could take an candle and say an prayer for them, an comment, and when you cliqued on the candle it lit up and stayed that way for several days and then it had to be done over again..it was brought up the other day..as so many people were asking for prayers to be said for them.

Our President says we will be flat out of Social Security in the year 2037...I should be 89 years old by then...if I'm still around. Some are saying we may not make after this year. Anyone want an old type mistresses...one that might be able to talk "dirty" if nothing else?..laughs*.... By then I should be so old... that it might be rough just trying to operate an computer. Here's how I'll plow up the back 40 acres as they say>>>>>>>>>>computer wise. Don't know if I can eat off that though...LOL. There's always hope by then they will beable to rejunivate us all someway I suppose. Next time I get to pick my body..OK!  One that never runs out of energy...repairs itsself on the minute...looks gorgeous to anyone I pass by..etc, etc...you know.

Life is like an bowl of Cherry's          I used to have all the Erma Bomback books, and the one you mention here is one of hers....never laughed so much at day to day life as I did reading her books....what a kick ! Gosh I forgot how I miss her...but haven't forgotten her!  One of her other greats was:  you don't need blood pressure meds if you have a mother-in -law !

Any authors you dearly enjoyed ???
