Yes ...deep water!!  must admit i'm not keen on deep water!!  i'm a strong swimmer, its not the inability to swim, just don't like not knowing whats lurking underneath me!! waiting to chew my legs off!!Surprised  i blame the film Jaws!!Laughing

No rip tides i know are dangerous, but its the fear of animals etc ...underneath that i cant see that worries me!

Isn't it true if you get caught in a rip tide, as long as you go with it your relatively ok?  it'll take you along ....but usually across???

That doesn't bother me, the animals. And there have been the occasional shark sighting on the Jersey shore!

I think if you swim along the shoreline, you'll be ok. I always panic and think one will rip one of the girls away!! Talk about FEAR!!! Cry
