apart from computer ---i enjoy music,reading and the odd bit of gardening.

I suppose the first holiday I remember would be travelling to my grandparents in Ringwood Hampshire.  Is that what you mean James?

Have you visited Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Channel Isles?

i have been to wales many times,ireland once which i relly enjoyed--i went to scotland for the first time last year.

now the channel isles    we went for the first time in 1983 then 84--86--89--90-91--93 we would go again but it is far too expesive now but what a lovely place to visit.

No - ours don't change.  Now there is only one hour difference between England and South Africa.  That means I won't seem to be leaving so early in the evening, lol.

Yes, and I enjoyed it very much though it was a number of years ago when I took the class.

I would have loved to be called Elsie Elizabeth Reeves England after my Grand mum and her Mum.

I like the big old Victorians, like you have where you live, Cathy.  Phoenix has some charming bungalows from the 20s, but most of the houses here are the boring old ranch houses.  I wish I had an upstairs.
