My answer above was to Cathy's question about alcoholism in the family.

The one I'm doing now and that is 12 years.  Moved around too often previously.

James =  No.  I like the house to be neat but I'm not at it all the time!

All one unit, although I must say I never knew what a hob was until we went to England.

James - when I hear the word houseproud, I think of the Our House song from the 80s.  I'm sort of, BTW, but only at Christmas.  lol

BTW, why wouldn't a gentleman be house proud?  Especially after he checks off everything on his "honey do" list.  lol

Are you good at DIY or do you have to hire somebody?

im not as good as i was at diy as i was,now i ask the son---when i can get hold of him.
