Strange you should ask about children's names. We had chosed their names together before they were born, but the names just didn't fit after they were born. My husband's grandfather died just before my son was born so he is named after him. My daughter (husband chose her names when he registered her birth) has my middle name. Do you think it is a pity that family names are not passed on to new generations now?
