i have a book-shelf in my spare wardrobe with my history books,plus a few reference manuals and general reading.

are you one of these people who cant wait for to-morrow.

LOL James!

As I have 3 christian names, which I always hated, I decided that my son should only have one name, David, but we chose that together.

Cheat James - that stuffed and trussed turkey doesn't have feathers, lol.

Strange you should ask about children's names.  We had chosed their names together before they were born, but the names just didn't fit after they were born.  My husband's grandfather died just before my son was born so he is named after him.  My daughter (husband chose her names when he registered her birth) has my middle name.

Do you think it is a pity that family names are not passed on to new generations now?

yes i do --- the majority of names of my descendants-- were george,james,edward,william and that was just the girl'sLaughing

No, I think it's very confusing.  Both my mother and I were called Marjorie .. not a good idea!
