You might have to refresh the page to see my new one, James.  The old one was from about three years ago.

My hubby caught me with my readers on.  Old school teachers always wear readers.

Why do you keep replacing your lovely avatars with Dean Martin?

BTW, one of the biggest fund raising days for charity in the U.S. is run by Dean's former partner, the Labor Day telethon for Muscular Dystrophy.  It's been going on forever, at least since the 70s.

I agree, Sally.  There will always be a need.  "Whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me."  Gospel values.

Is Help for Heroes a veterans  organization

Help for Heroes provides funds to assist injured Service personnel particularly those injuried in the recent troubles around the world. Here in the Midlands at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at Selly Oak Birmingham we have a special unit for severly injured Service personnel plus the fact that both my husband and son served in our Armed Forces so you can see why this charity is so dear to our hearts.
