My sister besides the playing cards with an gal's group every week also goes to bible studies also. So I was telling her this also and for some reason she got me into "blueberries"....I guess thinking about the dye...but they don't have blueberry bushes over in the middle east do they?.... I'd rather eat them anyway. I have some out back in my yard and if I had my way, I'd see to it the new apartment complexs have them in their landscaping....along with strawberries and an occasional fruit tree off out of the way on the property. This morning I'm reading some good news...about an "Western Rivers Conservatory" that is buying up land and restoring it to later give it over to the state park system...they are bringing back some of the animals to the areas and replanting trees, hauling off debris and in this case, took down the barbed wire fencing. of the 181 parks theyhave planned only 51 of them will have camping sites...I wish they'd be "on site" tipis...real ones...you know..with dug down firepits in the center of them. Take them down in the wintertime and roll thme up like an flag for storage. All the people would need is firewood and sleeping bags and food...or even KOA type campgrounds...with an few cabins. For no reason I had what feels like an "Gout attack" yesterday..and this cyst on my finger is swelled up also. I talked to my son last night..it's been awhile...but it helped to ease my pain..we don't get much chance to talk. That's how busy we are these days. We can be hours in the same room together and not have the time to say an word to each other for all that is going on. My sister may be correctin that its not an family "gout" problem but an neuragia one.Mine came yesterday after "fasting" for an lab test of all things.I couldn't walk yesterday without crutches...bu tthis morning it's a bit better. Time to find out and get rid of it! Next week is the doctor appointment. Anyway...beautiful day today...I'd like to enjoy it. Have an good one. I feel so good reading about this conservantory work on the new parks and tryin gto bring back the wildlife areas. What nature does to the human soul.... is keep us in touch with our creator. |

Our weather is nice and sunny today after six straight days of rain. They are calling for a shower later, though, so I'll get out in the back garden to do some weeding before it rains. The flowers are looking nice. I planted some English daisies this year for the first time and they're doing very well for me. Have a good day everyone. |
