The Americans have a huge military presence in South Korea. it's supposed to keep the North Koreans in check. My son is up on the border, called the DMZ/Demilitarized zone. There always seems to be something going on between North and South. Back and forth, back and forth. One shots and the others have to retaliate. He doesn't say much about it, other than its annoying. He's on his second year there. As a mother, I'll take that over Afghan or the Middle East. |

Did some reflecting on my late father-in-law who served in the U.S. Navy in WWII as a gunner's mate on a destroyer (U.S.S. Shubrick) in the Mediterranean and an aircraft carrrier (U.S.S. Bennington) in the Pacific. Also reflected on my grandfather, who served in the 147th Infantry, 37th "Buckeye" (Ohio) Division in the AEF in WWI and who was wounded in action at Baccarat in the Vosges Mountains of eastern France in August, 1918 (bayonet wound received during a trench raid). Thanks to all veterans everywhere! Edited by: Rob Faleer at:31st May 2011 00:36 |

So what can we chat about over the fence today........................... What do you think about the burglar Dad that got out of jail because he claimed the State had taken away his children's rights? Is the Dad to blame or the State? Justice appears to have gone berserk!! At least that's my opinion. I wonder what the people feel about their rights after he stole what was theirs? |

They are not telling anyone if its a boy or a girl, and have given it some generic name. What is the world coming to? Wait, that's two questions. |

In the UK the biggest growth industry seems to be information collecting, cannot see how you can get away with being a "generic sex". The toilet doors are marked male or female not "take your pick" ! |
