My sister loved him, but she always was (still is!!!) weird. Not too bad a few pints followed by a large one. Don't know why but the town was dead last night....made it easier get a seat and chat though.

Hey, guys, I think you had to be a teenage girl to love Gene Pitney:)  His voice was great to listen to after a bad breakup with a boy. I loved his song Town without Pity. He ended his last concert in Cardiff with that song, got a standing ovation and then died in his bed at the hotel that night. I remember back in the '60s my parents took me to Atlantic City to see him. For some reason he wasn't there and I got Bobby Vinton instead. What a disappointment! Love you, Gene.

James, If you happen by this thread, I was thinking you'd be the one to ask about this. Have you heard of an album by Dean Martin and George Burns, maybe some others, but I'm not sure, where they sang songs from the Beatles Sgt. Pepper? I've been trying to find this for years. The hubby says it exists and would love it, but I haven't been able to come up with it. Any idea?
