Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 19:56 on 2nd August 2011 Hey Sue!.....you still out there?....Chile...the country....has seen 6 times the normal amoount of rainfall in July then normal...normal is one inch in 50 years accumulation...well, they say that all this rain is about to "Burst" with over 200 varieties of flowers...they expect many of them to literally " pop up" out of the sand. Purples, Yellows, Reds, for beginners....now if someone had an camera and was there...I bet they could get "one in an lifetime"photo shots Just be sure and stay on high ground if your over there though...as it's cancelling football games, and damaging 1800 homes so far...etc. It would still be something to see...here an couple of years ago in Southern California people were sharing camera shots of the wildflowers in bloom in the desert..... from higher then ussual rainfall...just totally awesome. Just massive layers of blooms for miles on end. Glad you people out there vacationing are having an good time. It's the way it should be. |

They seem to leave an wake of goodwill with others going with them also in their travels. People like them. |

Seems like this year has dealt both Anna and I our fair share of pain, literally, and it's not over yet! Anyway, as you suggest the new knee will help to put things right. Anna is just about able to cough without it coming up from her toes. We think I am about 2/3 weeks behind her so the end of this 100 day cough could at last be in sight. Hi James......mate! |
