Pickled maybe, fig chutney or jam/jelly etc? |

Karen Lee Posts: 1558 Joined: 9th Mar 2011 Location: England | quotePosted at 20:13 on 9th October 2011 If you cut the fig open and its pink inside they are ripe, they don't go brown on the tree, as these are dried figs Have found a recipe for green unripe fig jam..... if you google "what to do with green figs" it comes up with loads of recipes, Also the white sticky milky stuff that comes from the stork bit when you take them from the tree is good for warts... thats what it said on a homeapathic site.
