Probably my 2 favourite shows of all time. Both so well written and casted, good harmeless comedy.....I'd like to think I could be like Compo and Clegg in a few years.....what a great life

i dont think i would davei never watched it i found it far too slow --for me the best character was joe gladwyn.now he was funny especially in "nearest and dearest"    google  "nearest and dearest " ruth

Can't disagree with that he was a great character..Wally Batty
