I have taken to the CSIs and NCIS progs, they are easy to watch--- over your shoulder whilst typing on a POE forum.

And quite technically entertaining too if a bit far fetched but it will all probably come true. Trouble is our pc in in the back bedroom and the TV's are in the 2 rooms downstairs, which is why I have  to record but then the only problem is trying to find time to watch what i've recorded

Tis A Dilema I do Delare. and you have TWO rooms downstairs. our one room downstairs has to multi task and cope with being as well being a craft room, I think Karen said she has a dedicated craft room , that is just too much like luxury.

We aquired 2 extra bedrooms when 2 of the kids fledged, so we put them to good use,why keep them as bedrooms, they might get the wrong idea and want to stay over or worse still come back... we are already planning  what to do with the other room when the last chick flies!

I tell you...due to today's ways....you in an three bedroom modest house that can accomadate two people.... you need one room an computer room and one room an spare room with storage facilties these days. But there's also one room for an exclusive "smoking" area....another room for an fitness room....and perhaps another for an game room also....though many use the computer for that any more also. Now that they plaster one house up to the next house....to where if you both have an side door open... if you trip going by..... you may end up in your neighbor's house...I exagerate not.....they need enclosed " roof" plexiglass top yard rooms also....because you see...the kids do the same thing tryng to ride thier trikes in the driveway...one quick jerk of the wheel...they are in their neighbor's driveway now. So we need enclosed third stories on most the houses for safety in play with the wee ones. Kind of an "garden room" and play area....wrapped up into one...sitting room with an fireplace for the older folks. .Gals like an sewing room...fellas like an tool area also..both tend to go out the door when you see how much it costs to "Do it Yourself" these days...but anyway.. The three story single home is not what it use to be.... these days.

What I watch the most over here on BBC is your daily news. Second those cooking ladies probably. But I also watch on "House Hunter's International" an lot of Brits buying second homes around the world or people moving over there also...it's on HGTV over here. Interesting how your houses are built in Europe for the most part, and how people renovate them.
