Posts: Joined: 1st Jan 1970 | editPosted at 20:27 on 27th March 2012 Good morning...we went clothes shopping yesterday, my grandaughter and myself...we ended up with niki shorts and t-topand one hoodie... and got our excerise in for this week I think. OH POPPYCOCK!....is that how you say it Ron? I refer to being having Irish shoved down our throats on the net by our surname I have nothing against being Irish either...but it is that this fella on line is smotheirng us with his data..out of existence ...to be anything else and still be " family". I take it he never checked out King Authur's Knight called "Lonhgren". Yes, our English side may well be that far back. I've been reseraching it the best I can for some time now. Not to mention understand their ways to make an match with them in what they do also. I am not saying that the O"LorCarin in Ireland could not be another branch...but they started out with King Authur in Engalnd...and probably from the Middle East before that if not France. But anyway...given enough time, I can at least write some about what I am finding. ...and so meakely and mild I watchedanother gal trying to explain she thought they were "English" dispite the others with the over bearing "Irish" going on also. Thanks to reading George Lawson's "will" again and his "my friend" and name, it lead me to what was an surprise legacy...in the middle of two Wolsey family pedigree charts...one named Hugh de Mormion. There was nothing else listed on him. and he's not showing up as the prior owner of "Forney Abby" in France either. ...that comes over to England. I am wondering though if our George Lawson was not referring to my Willaim larkin and son of William Marmion..Lord ofChekendon though...but reacords are very sparse on that alos...as they are around 1255 AD and Guillaune de Mamion in Normany France whom died around 1060. It seems while this line is indeed in France with an sect coming our of Isreal that is Jewish...probably high priests...that we also have this statement...by Sir Lawrence Gardener's research into the Holy Grail also...King Authur's mother was Ygerna, was the sister of one Morgause, who married Lot of,Lothian, ruler of Orkaney, his grandmother was was the dynasitic Queen of Avalon, an kinswoman of the Merovigian Kings...this heritage fell into King authur's sister...Morgraine. Authur's aunt Vivian II was Keeper of the Celtic Mysteries. Then ti goes to telling how this group with King Aurthur has his lineages with with Jamesand Jesus..it also is that of many of King Authr's Knights also. So it goes..down the line to the name of Marmion apparetley with the help of others such as Charles Martel. Won't go into this to much, because I have two different books concerning it...bu tthe same people...now the question is....why would our George Lawson be dealing with them in the early 1600's..and why would this be made into the name of William Larkin?...and I do believe our Paul Hilton was correct when I asked him aboout the name in England, and hesaid if was someone that sat on the King's Bench one time....and indeed that is what this William Marmion of Checkenden did, he was considered an traveling "Justice" worker of his day...he had an son named John (Lord) Marmion...and they don't appear to stay to much to anyone area. It would not surprise me at all if he knew William the Conquor either. But enough for now and I only hope that Brian Larkin and his goup don't destory this history for the sake of being |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 00:19 on 28th March 2012 I know, but they are rude in ways to gain control of infornation at times...I did that for another group that I had information on...I let the information out...because it was an year's old re-story of the people involved...someone grabbed onto the information...said it was "there's"...they found it... and rewrote the story practically...just messed up the entire original data...I was sorry I ever gave it out. Florence Larkins sent me an original letter sent to her...just before she died...I asked her if she wanted it back...she said then that "others" were taking her information and not returning it...and I said "Why" we have xerox machines these days Florence. Well, now I can"t find my copy of that letter...it seemed to dissappear as I found an old wedding ring in the middle of the floor the other day...what did the letter concern...it concerned the true data collected on my mother's family back in the early 1940's. My guess is that Florence knew they were stealing her stuff because they felt she was one foot in the grave from her old age,,,and they wanted to re-write thier own history...and claim authorship of it . So I stay to what I said..."POPPYCOCK"...to them. Now you know why I didn't have an girl. They probably would of "pimped" her out if I had of as Native American...though I think the little girl I raised was fighting like hell to keep her kin from doing it to her also. I read that letter and I went to the LDS local genealogical Library....and I found...the what they gave to be true..., because these people saw it first hand...on my ancestor's gravestone...that both Elizabeth and Sarah Ann Davis were older sister an younger sister and indeed were living in the house of an JOhn Davis. NO...they are not Pocahantas kin that I could see of...as Peter Shaw married that Elizabeth Davis in Augusta Co., Va. This JOhn Davis, I have alreafy been told to reflect himself as an overseerer of the slaves...and they were mostly "Native American"..."POPPYCOCK"again...Ron....this John Davis owned an water mill....but I guess they are not lying that he was perhaps an over-seerer of slaves...as I have him an Reverand also. He vaildated David Larken in 1812 as an early settler and as David being an J. P. in Hawkins Co...near Rogersville, Tenneessee.I do not know if George Lawson married this William Larkin's widow known as "Jane"...they said she never lived with him much, perhaps begin hsi freidn they took care of her in an "all man's world " back then... and went into Virginia and Kentucky with John Lawson...and his family. If David Larken is also David Lawson it makes sense to me why the Lawson's are so confused at times...guessing. David was said to been an "spy" on the upper Holston River...his mother was Elizabeth Montomery of Pennsylvania. The Holstein River see's an William Largen on it very briefly and one I think killed by Indians. Our William E. Larkins joined the war of 1812 with an John Davis, and niether of them were "residents of the area" at the time. John Lawson's legacy has an line out of Rogersville an back to where my anscestor lived in Illinois...it is her direct legacy that is caught up in the magazine article I mentioned above. Thereis ONLY one reason why "Florence" would give me this data she sent...it was to keep it "pure" from all the wanna be genealogistre-arranging our family lines to suit themselves. We are of the only son's line of William E. Larkins and Sarah Ann Davis. My older sister and I carry this legacy as the oldest of the female line in the Larkin family...of the cousins of my grandafather's family. Even though in many casestheir mother's would like it written differently. Florence knew I'd never do her side wrong either. I got kind of peeved last night reading to this othr gal say...well, I think that our family is Englsh but I keep getting told that we are Irish...but my records come from England....and she's trying to balance out the facts she has on them without giving in that's she wrong and not saying they could be correct in ways. I know for one thing that the Quakers "Lucus"family left England and went to Ireland...thier legacy said it did, so does that mean we have to consider them "Irish"...thier "roots" are not Irish either. AS it is said of Hugh McAdow....you can't fool an minister, nor an Scotchman...I might add...nor an Masonic Lodge member. I keep looking. You can't imagine what I find somedays snooping around. I just took out my grand-daughter for lunch and felt like I was an kid in kindergarden, slopping down myself...and we never did find the waitress...it was an bad lunch....and expensive one at that also. By the way...Cora Hiatt...did the "Chenoweth" history left out some improtant information....so there this huge hugewebsite...is having to re-do their family legacy and make it correct again also. It si times like this you just wish to hell they'dstay out of this work at times. Pretty soon they should have your Queen married to Donald Duck....and don't laugh....they probably would if they could. Hubby is home now...gotta go. |

What a bother. Here in SA there are places where it doesn't rain for 5 years - now that's a drought. Luckily we're having some autumn rain so the garden will go into the winter green and might last a bit before it starts turning brown. Hope you are all well wherever you are (Hi James, Ron, Cathy) |
