Sorry, it looked like I was talking about us, the people, POE members, but definitely not! Thanks for highlighting it, but it lets you see how a quick comment, often probably because your in a hurry, could be misconstrued. According to official figures this morning another 60,000 immigrants have arrived in Europe no doubt heading for the UK. So a question to those who may be tempted not vote for UKIP at the next Election....still feel the same way? The UKIP manifesto will be published soon, I hope it's as good as the start they have made. |

The welcome to everyone, even to those from the poorest nations, was championed by New Labour, without a care or concern about the views of the man in the street. Even the older generation of immigrants are uneasy about the levels of recent immigration. Gordon Brown's comment to Gillian Duffy, labelling her a 'bigoted woman' for daring to raise the issue of immigration, was typical of the political elite not giving a fig for you or I. The policy was in part driven by the assumption that the immigrants would add loyal Labour voters. Even Jack Straw now admits they got it badly wrong. Now that France is getting tough, we are certain to get more people hoping to join their friends over here, where they think the streets are paved with gold (or benefits). see BBC report on Calais Migrants and BBC report on have Labour really changed their views ?

Unfortunately, many of these people come from countries who do not share our culture or values. Yet we continue to pour aid into these countries despite them being controlled by oppressive governments. An example is the Meriam Ibrahim case, where a Christian mother in Sudan is condemned to death for allegedly renouncing Islam. see BBC Report Meriam Ibrahim Case

He corrected one or two 'lies and smears' from others, who naturally want him to fail, but the man's not for failing! lol Say what you like about protest votes, but I think we are going to see another great result for UKIP at the next election, by which time of course they will have MP's in Westminster. |

Nigel only needs two more goals to send the lot of them packing. Fingers and toes crossed next Thursday come on Nigel give the mainstream parties the big Heave Ho. |

It seems a good majority of us want out of Europe, to stop immigration stone dead and then scrap the Human Rights Act. That will do for starters, but dear people of Newark you have GOT to make your vote count, don't rely on it being a one horse race, because it isn't! Make sure you Vote for UKIP... |

The outcome of the Newark by-election will be pivotal in determining the future voting pattern. If UKIP win this one, there will be no stopping. |

I suspect that the emergence of 'New Labour' turned off many traditional Labour voters such as yourself. The deceit of Blair over Iraq, and the bungling of Brown over almost everything, shattered the illusion that Labour was the party of the people. In reality, they were just another grouping of the self-serving political elite, snouts in the trough like most of the others. I hope UKIP will be better. Time will tell. |

Okay, it has taken us all a while to react, but now that the ball is rolling it can only get bigger, like a snow ball gathering snow for a snowman and there is snowman that I know of who is doing a better job for us right now than Nigel Farage of UKIP! Good luck in Newark UKIP and let the ball continue to roll. |
