The yellow sign on the left is also puzzling ? We seem to be out of the South West now as well which makes it more difficult, if the castle is anything to go by. |

The one of the river and bridge lends me to thinking coastal looking at the buildings on the higher levels, but that don't really narrow it down much. I tried tried running it through a sharpening programme but it is a scan of a photograph so not much hope which is a pity cos i reckon the hotel name would be enough |

I was thinking if the castle is Chepstow, then maybe a seaside village in that area of Wales. Dosen't look like anywhere I've been, I think I'd recognise the bridge. |
