We're hanging on here in the East Coast and awaiting our snow storm that's predicted to arrive on Wednesday. Possibly 2-4" of snow in our area, no biggie. I am soooo ready to put my winter coat away! Been busy helping my daughter, Elizabeth, plan her wedding in October. So exciting! Her fiance, Andrew, is a lovely lad. We couldn't be more pleased. |

I pinned the card up to the bulletin board for up coming things this year. Snow shouldn't last to long now...we are into March...and Easter is but four weeks away now. Guess if's just an end of the season lingering thing going on right now....our bulbs are up now...I planted 100 plus last autumn and now it's paying off.... I must be to enthusatic about seeing them, I noticed my grand-daughter said to me the other day..Yes, we have seen your flowers now four times grandma....I think she mentioned me asking if she'd seen them four times...as I don't rember her out there four times. I'll try to keep quiet about my flowers. I just finshed the tea pastry trays for my ladies tea tomarrow night..will be four of us if not more munching on cookies and fresh strawberries, pastries and discussing tea cups of various shapes sizes, ..colors and from different countrys. Then we can go hot tubbing or swimming and I bought some magazines to look at and can can relax/ snooze away...for an hot continental breakfast in the morning. Rain will be coming in for the next two days...so we might like our little get away before heading back to our houses. Right now I have to make hubby an nice dinner and he has " scouts" tomarrow night anyway...so I won't be missed to much. Think I'll go out and do some rounds in the neighborhood while it's not raining. Talk later. I heard them say something last night about coming out with some kind of new "fix" for android users on coast last night. I really don't know many people that have them in comparison to I-phones...but I figured it was the cost of them...Verizion choses what they want to give for free phones during their sales and up-grade events and they have pushed the I-phones more so. Not so this time...so you get what's free I guess you know...if it's available. This was available..but he eyed me over when I asked for basic black...like your an serious business lady type. All I could do was smile and say..well it matches my brief case, my lap top and my purse right now and if I want it fancy I can probably come up with something. .....Which I did. |
Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 05:25 on 5th March 2013 I am back for an bit...seems my brother is back in town, or sister in -law is making excuses....she's not going to go tomarrow night...this makes the 4th time she's wanted to do this or that...and pull out at the end lieaving me kind of "high and dry" as they say....I'll still pick up my sister and go up to the motel though...I asked her why couldn't she bring her hubby along and stay in an room by themselves. But "no go" on that one also. Except I now have two trays full of cookies and danish pastry and fresh strawberries ready. I called in my daughter in-law see if maybe she could take one of the trays off my hand tomarrow. We lost our couples bunco group from something similar going on....everyone got tired of catering to an select group all the time. Queen is out of the hospital last I saw on Tv...they said it was simply precautionary health measure anyway. She looked in good spirits. Best get going, still have my hair to wash..I stayed up last night and listened to "coast" talking about the Prophecies of Fatima..with the three young girls...he was asking an church official if he had any hints on what was so terrible that they woulnd't release the information...but fell asleep and they pondered the question. Plus Peter Davenport was on last night, he said he didnt' know quite what was going on but UFO reports are coming in very strangely this last week..one was of military jets chasing what looked like an orange ball, and several of groups of six orange balls flying in formation and others in formation flying out into an spoke like configuration...he's asking people to be "aware" and keep reporting at his web site...peterdavenport.com. see if we can make heads or tails of the information. I think some of this might have to do with the chosing of the new POPE perhaps. It's an important time with the prophecy of the "last pope" right now supposedly. Everyone is wating to see if they are going to come up with an "peter romanus" and yet they've had one in there for some time now as it is. |
