What a lovely story Richard, thumbs up for the good old hot water bottle. Glad the little one is fit and well, and recovered from his ordeal. You must have all been freezing cold.

We do think the hot water bottle did part of the trick !!(keeping the underside of him near his heart warm !!),,it wasn't too cold !! (we have a snow storm on the way for the weekend !!   lol !)

Hello all

Guess who's back in town...

Haven't been around for awhile, but hoping to spend more time on POE. Specialy now i'm planning a new trip to England. We will visit Kent this coming May. It's almost 3 years since our last trip so it's bl***y time that we cross the channel again. There are lots of 'green spots' (town awaiting pictures) in Kent on POE so my goal will be to fill some of them.

Have some catching up to do on the forum so i'll start reading.

Bye for now

That was a nice story Richard...we were forced to hit an deer in our path going up the freeway...it was either that or the car full of people next to us...I was so" sick to my stomach" hitting it...it flew off and over the other people's car...we all stopped..it laid there unconsious ( we thought dead) along the side of the road..an four pointer buck, that most people would of loved to do in for winter meat...we went to the ranger station down the road an told them...then we came back to have the people tell us after we left , it gained consciousness and stood up and sprinted back into the trees...made me feel good.  I toldl my hubby..so much for " bagging an deer" without gun, permit or ammo. He just laughed. It makes an person feel good to know that they helped something or someone in need to survive. Rightfully so I think.

I'm back from my owernighter...I am so use to staying up half the night writing..I had an really touch time trying to go to sleep...I did eventually though...was up and ready to do by 7:30 am..on my own.

We di dan wee bit of shopping, went out for Chinese food...new place in town...three long tables of buffet style...kind fo coastly, but it was an all you can eat thing....yes, I hit the deep fried shrimp..the crab legs...chicken fried rice...the egg flower soup, the general taoschicken...with bell pepper stir fry...the fruit salad...you name it it, it just kept coming...little bites at a time....and tea...then I got my fortune cookie...it said mark today...three months from now it's going to be special...well, that would put it about my birthday in June. I came back and went into the hot tub, into the pool for my water excerises..had my platte of cookies for the tea...by daughter inlaw and grandaughter stopped by....then we watched an movie and went to bed. (My sister an I each had our own queen sized beds). got up this morning and had OJ/coffee....sausage patty on an biscuit with sauage gravy...some scrambled egg...and an mini waffle with maple syrup. Two strawberries from the tea the night before and came on back to the house. My kitty met me at the door....he had placed himself in my suitcase, on top my night gown...all yesterday afternoon you know....I had to tell him he couldn't come. But I've been  being good to him ever since I got home. Opened him up an new bag of kitty food too. Went grocery shopping fo rthis week, and started clearing out the back bathroom to paint....but I'm running out of energy right now...think I'll see if I can lay down an bit before dinner...which I have almost ready now. Really dark and rainy day, I'm glad we had something to do and that bright blue pool helped pick up the spirits. I'm ready for an warm fire crckling also...Barbara should be facing some 20 inches of snow by tonight in Washington D. C. according to the news.

Ted...glad to see you back in here for an bit...how's the grandkids doing?........  City came out an bit ago to paint the lines to the street cables so they can cut those trees of the neighbors. I am looking at an Irish Cream Cake...green cake and the frosting includes Irish Cream Coffee Creamer....they suggest like International Delight. Sure does look yummy. Catch you all later on....smiles*

I also made it into the excerise room and on the stair tracker, the

walking machine and the bycycle....but not as much as I usually do...

taking it easy for Spring workouts.
