I think it was fair enough because we were treated right, service was quick, the food was good and the place was clean! Interesting question James, but now the answer... |
James Prescott Posts: 25952 Joined: 11th Jan 2010 Location: UK | Posted at 20:57 on 20th February 2013 I think it was a very decent tip --when we go out for a meal which isnt very often these days i aways hand a fiver to the waitress --there is a resraunt not too far from me that has a large dish at the pat till which the owner starts it off before anyone dines --- crafty sod-then i dont tip.but give the barman a couple of quid. |

Regards tipping, I don't go out much to dine these days but at Xmas I always tip tradesmen, postmen etc but this year I did not tip the milkman because he does not acknowledge the cheque and I am used to the please and thank you days which does not seem to happen much these days |

Hey there were a good crowd on last-night folks plenty of chat and banter --Ron should get out a bit more. |
