My condolences to Great Birtain and her family... a person that made an difference in her country and it's affairs. |

I know the northern parts of the UK suffered, but it was necessary in my opinion and as for the car industry in Oxford three people were doing the job of one person so that alone just couldn't carry on, but that's the Unions for you! 'Maggie' sorted them! RIP Margaret Thatcher and I apologize on behalf of the imbeciles who are disrespecting your memory. You were a Great Lady and will be remembered by most of the world as such. |

The fact that she received glowing tributes both from the USA and Russia says a great deal about her status on the world stage. Sadly, she was betrayed by her own party at the end of her career. Her mistake was to try to stay in power too long. As you say Ron, she was partly responsible for the destruction of many of the old industries. I think maybe she went too far down that road. The demise of British manufacturing is something which saddens me and is one of the reasons why we cannot get out of the current financial mess. Yes, RIP Maggie, whatever people may say, you will be remembered as a Great Lady.

How many stood up for Jesus when they crucified him...not many. Thatcher lived in era that we don' t have now...where we could speak our minds. Kids these days to drugged down medically and brainwashed by thier teachers for one thing..object...more money for them. For some reason people stopped doing as good an job as they could... for the all mighty dollar...so where it was possible...they were elminated and wages in place went drastically downward...right along with quality of life. It can be changed...and peacefully...but people are going to have to think different. They talk an one world Government...how about an one world "Post office"...where people the world over are taught English to speak... but can send letters in their country's native language to keep their "roots" alive. they have th best of of both world's then. Easily understood no matter where they go...but keep their cultural identity also. Save our abilty to communicate if the computers ever go down. |

It seems to have been an excuse for wanton destruction and riots which have no relevance except for some excitement for the unemployed, benefit snatching, layabouts. OK, rant over! |
