I was thinking your picture was that way on purpose Diana Laughing

A warm sunny day here, had another egg this morning so we ate the two we've had so far for breakfast. David went fishing yesterday and caught a lovely big Cod, so it's fish for tea tonight.

Have a good afternoon everyone Smile

Hi to all POEsters............ and Ruth, Cod is very bad for you, send it up to Oxford and we will check it out. Just to be sure we'll have to cook it and well umm, err, taste it of course, but we'll let you know the result.

Ruth...hate to say this but isn' the holding an bottle of tartar suce in his lap?...I think I smell tartar sauce.

Diana...wonder if it's the train I took when I was back in your area, from the train we got on the subway..and from there only had an flight ot stairs to take to be close to where I was going..the Central Library...but stopped across the street to buy me an pair of italian sandels....this was an vacation of wearing out an pair of shoes every week.. along the east coast "sight-seeing". Haven't been on such an trip since either. My kids are  going over to their friend's house this year for July 4th...so rented an room over the bay area water that forms behind Cascade Locks...where I can see I'm told at least two live firework displays, if not the third on the TV set..we got us an riverview room just for this occasion. First time I've done this one, but we use to geet invited up to my sister in-law's and she has something simliar from her backyard lookin gin towards town.  Her house is over the river and up high also  She just asked me when we were coming up to see her..told her maybe come September.  It takes me 5 months to save up for house taxes and it will take me that long to get it accomplished providing all goes well. Then comes Christmas after that...plus other things.

Diana..you ever get into the "cottage" you so much wanted years back? You look like you've lost an lot of weight. How I wish I could and keep it off..I lost 30 pounds last year but gained not quite half of it back, so joined an health club recently for this winter...see if that helps me somewhat.

BTW..has anyone heard from Cathyml?

Yes we had chips, and there were no bones Laughing I owe that to the filleting skills of David, I can't be doing with bones, puts me off altogether.

He's out on the rocks fishing for Bass at the moment Smile

Edited to add - Ron we've got you a Bass Smile sadly I think it might have gone off by the time it gets to you in the post, so we'll eat it and I'll let you know what it tasted like, it will be like you're having a virtual fish Laughing enjoy !
