Good day everyone...well was suppose to watch the grandkids today and one went someplace else to stay today... so she deceided to take the other one left with them to the hospital. I was buying food yesterday at winco, going down the isle by the ice cream to the bakery and "Bam" and I do mean about that fast also...slipped on melted ice cream. Everyone just kind of scattered in all directions..so I wrestled there on the floor a bit, my leg bothering before an Hispanic lady half way down an isle came over to help me up again.I went and told the clerk..who really didn't do anything I could seeof...so I went to an different checker..and she said where did you fall..so I lifted my pant leg to an bif goose knot swelling up on my chin bone...so I todl her...isn;t it important to get someone back there and get the ice cream wiped up off the floor?....so she called on hermicrophone..up came the manager...and they asked me to go and fill out some papers at the coustomer serive area, which he had taken my check and had already done that for me, so I never really saw what was written down...but he took a picture of me....but I'm not sure he took an picture of my injury..his anme was "Mark"and I never signed anything either. But more then that...I don' t know if anyone ever went back and actually wiped up the melted ice cream off the floor or not. It taught me that if you get hurt in an store..expect everyone to turn their heads the other way and leave, and that they really aren't concerned about people in general...I guess to busy to be bothered for the most part. Anyway, it's pretty well gone this morning, but still slightly sore there when I rub my hand across the area. Got an LOT done yesterday...so did my nieghbors. They have theirr barkdust in now on the side of the street that faces toward us. Has her slab of cement nice an flat in the sidewalk from the tree trunk lifting it up an bit...and not to much else to do on this side, though she's facing an week of working now. WE got the picup removed and the side of the house cleaned up and some of the posts for the fence iin also. They gave us some of their rock they took up and told us to get the rest of it...so we laid some of that down where  the truck was parked. Did considerable on the yard maintence also...that I did. Sun i snow coming out...so should be an good day to finsish it up with..but think maybe I'll go take an walk around the neighborhood first...so talk to you later on. Have an good day!
