He washed his hands at the edge of the surf the ring came off and he didn't notice until the tide had come in a bit more. Ring number 3 stays at home when he goes fishing now |

One I have righ tnow is an band with five rows o ftiny diamonds, you can't see, cause it needs cleaned. First one I cried over and after that it slowly came to me that other people can have nice jewelry..but not me apparently. My hubby has lost quite an few also..at one time he would give me his until I'd get another one and so we'd pass them back and for as long as they were an wedding band. I know some people with gorgeous diamond rings...divorced. I am sitting here tonight watching "Buying Alaska"...now Richard would like this show...all properties have outhouses...10 mins out of town your in an snowy wasteland with ususally and lake, bears, and moose around it. But the fishing is good. It amazes me in how the people for $100,000 to $200, 000 have such an time finding something suitable...esp if it has an upstairs...they all seem to have ceiling heights for midget people. 200 sq foot cabin..outside willow, really tiny inside..but here's this tall roof...would be idea for an loftbedroom..they sold it to an yong couple..$69,000...but heated with solar and an heater..I think they said oil. Been learning lots about Alaska watching this show...lakes everywhere. No problem for Diana ...she wants to live on an Lake...though it gets 40 degrees minus zero in the winter time...and that brings problems with new necessities in most housing. From having running water to an lack of electricity and they said people needed garages to protect their car engines also. But I see an lot of things that no ones tried out as of yet...like an hilltop home..where an person could dig out the hill in front and install an trailer house perhaps..onely one side to the weather...and I'm sure one side would be easier to clean out the snow with then three sides, make an deck over the trailer on the ground tohold it in place...as for avalances...wasn' tthat high an hill the house set on to begin with. You wouldn't have to worry about snow on the roof, if built into the hillside.First thing I think I'd do is build into the ground an covered stairway into the ground to an lower level...not so much climbing in thick snow. It would be testing for me to try various different ideas I could see that right away.. Hubby and I went to the Mt. Angel "Octoberfest" sure changed in the years..not as much of it. Can really see the effects of the local economy. Everyone was selling homemade soap for the most part. Not as many sausages on buns as there were curly fries. Not as many beer gardens either. But an rather plesant day was had. Richard...you'd probably like Alaska If you like living in Colorado. One thing I have not seen much of up there....two story buildings, with businesses below and living quarters on top. You know.like fireplace upstairs and saloon hall downstairs..I'm just kidding. Instead of panning gold you could check out the gals...report in POE to the fellas what's going on. Drown your throat in beer instead of muddy water. Kind of sad all the rain your getting...but been there and done it here in Oregon. I well remember watching my uncle's house float away in high water on the Sandy River as an kid on Tv...the news.He lost everything. I think it happens to everyone at least once in their life...as me so far anyway. My parents home. Bye bye. At any rateit's getting late and I still have some articles to write tot someone else. Maybe tomarrow. Talk later on. |
