In 2012, I had dinner with friends in Upper Basildon. In mid 2013, I read that agricultural inventor Jethro Tull was born in Basildon and was buried in Lower Basildon. I've heard the band Jethro Tull on the radio many times. What is the name of the famous female singer, songwriter, composer and record producer who lives on a farm near Stroud? She sings soul, R&B, jazz and soft rock.Her band has been around since 1983 and had a world tour in 2011. |

My first thought for your question was Annie Lennox, but I'm not so sure about the Stroud connection. |
