Vincent..I just went back and looked at your pictures...you know that Howard's married Elizabeth Lawson about this time...but I learn  things all the time...the people associated with this Castle were the parentsof the story and book I just read by Beranrd Cromwell.  I've known Howard's for years here in town...own the Polar King Restruant...and small one but it hasn't gone down to the times in all these years...and the hill behind it, full of houses was built by my uncle..the Moreland's. He named the streets after his wife and family. After his death his wife built an Motel/Hotel in this area that was recently bought out about as big as this castle. It would of been nice to see an ariel of the area. I can't tell but does the brick that's red also "sandstone"...that has an significance to England and with the so called "Ancient Aleins" tv show about Carnc, France. It has special properties they think of helping them to be psychic...particualry the "Kings" of the day. Both Clares Priory and Lewes Priory were supported by the Planegent/Lewisson/Lawson family. I found that out when the Ladder Day Saints went over and started translating old records into English here lately. I would have to find it again, but some time ago I bought an book about King Henry VIII's wives..and looked into the Howard family..I have some legacy papers that were written by John Lawson some years agoand it says his wife was Catherine Howard...but am told that his wifewas by another Howard then the Catherine married King Henry VIII. St any rate..John gets "band" from England...one reason I was wondering if his wife ro daughter was the "Catherine" married Henry the 8th also. He came over here...John Lawson did...and I suspect if was because the wife of Lord Bailtimore was an Howard...and he settled in the same area as an John Larkin did...Gunpowder Manor. From what I can see this "John" Larkin was an teacher/navigator instructor and.possibly astrologer...and surveyor over here. John Larkins'daughter married into the ship owner Edward Dorsey family. he was quite wealthy in his own right also. I've kept all this because I have the Read family of my mother's land grants later were owned over here by Ann Cleves...before President Benjamin Harrison inheited it from his wife, whose parents had bought the ground also, this was in the New York area...which werre full of Tories back then from the Rev. war.. I'll tell you all about it someday an bit better. As to the Castle, it looks like the bottom of it was well fortified against attack...did this castle go to ruin or was it perhaps in warfare by the time the "War of Roses" got started? I wonder if they kept any original castle plans to it's building also...so we can see what it use to look like before it went to ruine.  I started writing/researching an bit last night...but I very desparetly need teh names of the people of the London company around the time of the founding of Jamestown and Boston. I've found an few of them that dealt with Boston..but don't know if I'll ever find them concerning London back then. I would like to get into the story of the British East Indies Company more indepth then Wikipedia...and am having difficulty doing it.  The paper work I pick up person and many years ago, is so much more truthful then what is out there these days...or it is over here. I find it extremely hard to think that John Lawson was NOT an "Templar Knight" also. I told Christopher when I was done writing, I'd try to find those "OLD" documents I picked up some 35 years ago and with my son...keep them, but send him an copy to keep also, he might be able to pick up where I left off someday.. Chris has his Board of Education certification and says he's going into "History" himself, it was his grandmother..my husband's sister that died recently in Washington State...besides being an high school Englsih teacher now. I feel him my best chance to many someday carry this work onward.  At times I find it so hard to beleive what's being changed and written by people these days..most all of them have an "object" in mind for what they say...it's not just for knowledge any more and legacy. There is an reason why the Bible says those whom are first will be the last and those whom are last will be the first in God's Kingdom. Thank you for the pictures. Do you know if the castle at one time had an moat around it or not..it kind of looks like it did. I can't finsih Cromell's book series until I can locate the books or an bookstore.  But there are some things that disturb me in it also...of course it has Lord Northhampton in it...because it's historical..in one part of the story the King of France is asking his Astrologers what kind of an day it is for an attack...and they tell him to do it because the Sun is in Gemini with Virgo, opposite Carpicorn. WEll, he ends up losing of course....but MY astrological sign is Gemini with Virgo and my hubby is like the opposite of me and he's an Carpricorn...this book was originally written in GReat Britain as the book called Harlequin, this book was written by Cromwell in 2001.  I don't know Cromwell since I picked up the first of his books in the last two years to read...so I find it extraordinary this inofrmation that concerns me also is in this story. True I have talked to my mother's family in Massachuestts, even went there in person, to find papers on them.. but I never discussed astrology back there...esp mine. So I kind of ponder and wonder about it also. I have known for an long time of course that the lady that started me in all this work...was an "Masonic" family and her brother an "shriner" lodge member, my great Aunt and Uncle....but neither of them were alive back then, by the tiem I went ot Massachusetts... unless they "faked" thier own deaths. Anyway...it's getting late in these parts for me and I'm tired tonight. I at times wonder if the Larkin name didn't come from King John "Lackland" Planagent also...but I keep searching...they are very often in the same area, the records, etc.1300 AD. both an George Lawson and an John Larkyn were knighted...or someone is fixing the records to suit themselves.

Neil...I've never known of anyone that dowsed for "living" spirits...let alone released souls to heaven using it. As it's ususally done for water rights, geological fault lines and Ley lines, but I've heard some people doing it for possible earthquakes before also, to predict them or the earth and it's "weak" spots. True the soul and spirit carries with it an type of electrical energy..which I liken to the "essence" of the creator Lord at times...in being the "all" in the world...." I am that I am". First comes thought, then energy, then manifestation into the material/physical. I'll have to look this one up in some of the books I have around here I guess. "Time" is nothing more then an person's thought of whats coming next in thier mind. We make our own time. One reason these people sometimes can get themselves stopped in an time warp episode....and appear as the figuration of the time era as an "Ghost"...esp those having an issue with something going on back then in their lives. There is an fella that was on "coasttocoast" that is doing experimentation with this pheonomen. I wonder what he would say also. Myself, I think much of it has to do with "love" at the center theme and hooked to the area...and for them time stands still.

Afternoon everyone, late today we've been in Lancaster all day. Called to get some stuff for David from a fishing tackle shop then went for a wander and something to eat, before the rain set in again.

Ok, I look up Ben Johnson....more familiar with the ones in Ilinois besides hubby's oldest sister married an Johnson also and Sir William Johnson... of New York history... before the Revolutionary war. One's in llinois let the founder of the Latter Day Saints church members on his property as they were going to Salt Lake city..... to found thier headquarters there....the townsfolk " tarred and feathered" the Johnson partiarch and Moromon founder...Brigham Young. Only cowboy fella I know is my once neighbor "Big Shaun" as we called him...little Shaun in the neighborhood was John Fitzgerald's son.  I'm pretty sure that big Shaun swiped an computer disc from me one time...and present to me from Phillip for my son...to get an good grade in high school for some school project in computers. I leave the cowboy stuff to my half cousin...he named his Kids...Austin, Cody, and Cheyene Jordan...and looks like actor Jim Carey...with an humor simliar. Last time I saw him he's goal in life was to be an millionaire by age 50...sounds like he might of made it.  Wife's name is Kelly. Last time I visited with "Big Shaun" whose older sister lived outside Lake Tahoe...he was in an "rodeo workers couldn' t believe his size...and he wasn't sloppy fat either. he for an while made it an habit of never waking up in time for school, so he'd come over and ask me to take him to school. I didn't mind it when he had the broken leg...but otherwise I felt he needed an better routine. he was already getting the size to have to "stuff" in my front seat of the car. He liked his career choice. Said it kept him nicely but not luxuriously rich so far. I asked him how many bones he'd broke so far...he said an good share of his body so far...but he was learning how to not do that. His dad was an housing construtor and his mother an receptionist for someone. You never saw much of them. He was the yongest kid in the family. I think it was thier house that had been the home of the Personnel relations manager for the Portland Trail Blazers before they bought it many years ago. He also supported the Foreign Exchange Student family program and had an German banker's son living with them. A very poilte kid whose father was working in New York at the time. Two totally different types of people.I don' t know if he's still alive due to the World Trade Center being taken down. Little Shaun's mother Bonnie Fitgerald was help open Far WEst Bank BRanches in Oregon. When we bought here there were more out of state rediences then in states Native Oregonians. Most of them used these houses for starters homes...went even bigger ones yet. Then our economy tanked..some of them still have thier bigger homes, and lot of sold them and went on to something else. At one time we had five ground swimming pools and two above ground pools down the street and on my side street...as far as I know they have either been filled in, or taken down except for my neighbor across the street. We cleaner equiptment back then like they do now. Most these people now live in houses between here and Sandy...with more ground to them/acreage. Housing contractors took to building on the west side of Portland..thank God! Doesn't matter...house/apartment/condo over there...they look like miles of row housing...stacked on top of each other. Reminds me of "animal" cages to say the least...but hey are "new" is thier claim of fame. Before I got into this...I came in to

tell Vincent to check out...http://www. phillipagregory.com..in reguard to the Howards...the book I have she authored was "The Boylen Inheritance"...apparently an take off her more famous one..The Other Boleyn Girl..and The constant Princess. Sir Thomas Boleyn, was Earl of Wiltshire (said where the Quaker movement came from),married wife Elizabeth Tiney...grandmother to Elizabeth I of England..whose family moved to Heve Castle near Kent in Edenbridge, 30 miles S. E. of London. Thomas Boyeln inheirted it from his farther William in 1505..but it fell into the hands of eventaully of Anne of Cleves, Henery VIII fourth wife.Greory seems to say that Anne, while beautiful was also an bit insane by nature..and she seems to coin something I've heard often of the rampant incest going on in the family lines of this period..the other night they were doing an show on the "Lost Colony" in North Carolina...and were showing where they first setlled..... "sassafras" grew there profusingly...much needed in Europe for syphiliis...and then the historian said...you know King Henry VIII gave it to his daughter..then everyone looks an bit "shocked"...and they go on. They were...the colonists...looking for herbs and tobacco to take back as an cash crop you know. I beleive the Boleyn name here went into the "Boyd" name later on. Whom married the grandson of Rev Sam'l Davis..one of the founders of Princeton (University) in New Jersey....also an preacher out of Augusta Co., Va....killed by the Indians and son John raised the sisters and brothers. I beleive my mother's lineage is part of this group..but am told by others to forget it...they wrote up an northern line of the Davis family as kin, and Doctor...destroyed the cemetary tombstones back east also...by then I had already traced it back to this family...information given to meby and elder family member that I can't find any more in my files. But I kept the information anyway in my own notes. They have obliterated the family by name pretty much in Putnam Co., Illionis and made Capt William Haws into William Hough. I kept the original information and his name spelled aas such also. Houghs were one of the first neighbors of mine when we first lived here. Spencer died before he even turned 21 years old...his mother says she thinks someone pushed him.. at an college party in an dorm at Portland State University, he fell over an balcony to his death. I think his father was an court judge as he was from the same area they moved to, he died an couple weeks later (retired)...Honorable Judge John Hough. It was an very sad event...I remeber teh day little spencer sit on my chair and cried because he didn't want to move from here, he wanted to stay an play with my son at the time...but so goes. Parents "do" and kids follow. Micheal and Kathy had been long divorced prior to Spencer's death. Elijah "Darthin" Larkin of Rogersville, Tennesee days wife was maybe Ann Boyd's sister..he was considered an part of the "long hunters" in Daniel Boone's group of fur trappers...and sounds an bit "savage wild" in his ways...from what his family has written of what little they know about him...her name was said to been Sarah Boyd. The " longhunters" were ususally the "first" into the frontier areas over here...often associated with local Native Americans also. But this gets to lengthy now to keep going...so I go for now. The Larkins and the Lawson's were the first to many locations and for that reason, if they didn't write their own history or an child did...it's very hard to find and very easy to make up....they also continually intermarried law's....had trhe same nieghbors often also. The wealthier ones, and there were those also were into ships and merchant trades and Reverands. I need the merchants of London names if it exists. Also Jane Rochford is an Boyeln cousin also.
