That was my Christmas Present to myself this year...building in an new microwave oven above my stove so my kitchen joined this century..laughs*. It really cost us very little because on Veteran's Day they gave the veteran's an extra 20 per cent off the sale prices. I was talking to my niece in her mother's house in Rockwood area about the need for us to be comparable to the new housing units going in our area... to be competively priced in the resale market these days...those neighbors that aren't...... are finding out the hard way thier houses are not sellling and if they do... take an long time without bringing them up to date with the times. Rockwood is an community of one level three bedroom suburban homes built in the early 50's. I think the only way an person could make them better and more of an up grade would be if they let them have permits to add to the tops of the houses..preferably with modern glass like upper stories to those houses...with extra bedroom on eone end and and family room on the other...with wrap around glass windows and blinds.for at night. Same for the one levels down the street from me right now and it would afford these houses and complete view of Mt. Hood in the distance also.As for me I'm enclosing my yard to make my own view using the landscaping. I have little "area's"..one of table, one of an fire pit, one of an water pond, one of some grass,..one of an small garden...etc. But I did like an idea I saw of incorporating each area into one small excerise path....where you can sit in some areas and excerise along the way on benches in the other areas. Simple excerises...like set ups, push ups against an tree maybe, raising an lowering small hand weights... bicycling on an stationary bike, that kind of stuff. Then sit at your patio table to sip some liquids afterwards and "talk" with others.Lots of things to think about in 2014 to make life easier.

Our Red Alert wind and rain storm is here now...and heavy snow up in the mountains...we have about 10,000 people in various places without power..that's not many considering Portland and out-laying areas are home to over one million people. It will be over by tonight pretty much. Guess I will go for now...have an good day everyone.

Things haven't worked out too bad, I've spotted a Panasonic Microwave in Sainsburys for £69.99, I have a coupon for tomorrow whereby if I spend £40 or more in store I get 12 pence a litre off diesel. Our tank holds quite a lot and is nearly empty - so it's Sainsburys for us tomorrow then Smile

Jan. 10th..day of completion..Jan 11...day of new beginnings...1 plus 11=12..apostle figure.... Jesus is the number 13 supposedly...today is an interesting day and tomarrow will be far so more...keep your eye out for Jesus...real or anti-christ possibly.

See all three threads in earthboppin.net with links within the subect of an hundred more prophecies of what's coming now by way of thier prophecies..including the subject of 2013-2014..

Our storm is now pretty much over...70 mph winds on the coast, some places inland it was 52 mph..trees went down an into houses, drop over cars smashing them also...but no one hurt so far, power outtages...heavy rains with those red storm cells going across...but it resolved things in ways also...the need for rain, the need for snow in the mountains...it didn't drop as much snow as was thought so far...closed down the ski lifts due to high winds..but the cycle looks to be broken now. I caught part of the last of the movie of "The Three Amgios" with Steve Martin and Chevy Chase and their other side kick...it was such an totally rediculous movie, I still found myself laughing after all these years...it was an "spoof" comedy off "The Magnificent Seven" an excellent movie. ...with an all-star cast in it. I'm ready to start my writng now.
