You can go over there in the left hand column in earthwatchers and pick up the latest quakes, solar events, and general over all projects of the hourly goings on around the world. Some of the oldies I've known for an very long time. Again they have good links, and when they say something it's very worth while to listen and consider. I went and made an three tier half pyramid kind of thing against the house for the seedlings to be planted..I bought small plastic containersat the store for $1.10 each....and we used mixed potting and garden coming, and though he covered it all in plastic...I think I'll wait an bit..besides I need some green bean..pole type to go down the rest of the side of the house..he tells me we can't plant anything next to the foundation...leave an bit of room, so I am. So I'm out here soon for the green beans and maybe some onions sets also..and start planting every other week..so my intial crops are staggered an bit time wise for harvesting. All this is on the south side of the house. By the time I get done with the seeds, I can go on to the tomatoes. Picked up the seeds, 2 paks for an dollar at the Dollarama store here an while back. I figure, carrots, radishes, spinach, and get the green beans started and the maybe the squash seedlings. Other then tomatoes, not to much else I'll put in...but say, I saw and guy that took old rain gutters, and planted them in hanging strawberries over his outside patio table, for part shade...and he's got an bumper crop of them dangling down ready to eat. They water themselves from the rain also. Don't take up yard space. I best get going for now. |
