That's the lady John, worked for the Observer since 1949. Just do a google image search for JANE BOWN to see some great portraits. Very often took 20 minutes or less for a session

I wondered if the 'thought' might be further back in time than we would think, I considered Leonardo de Vinci, he had some futuristic thoughts, or maybe the Chinese ?

I'm probably way off here Smile
