Those weather conditions you describe sound good but with the location do you reckon those famous Scottish midges/mosses will be about- hope you got some repellant if needed. We came prepared we have some fantastic stuff made in Scotland called Smidge, it doesn't contain that awful ingredient Deet which is like poison, so it's quite pleasant to spray on. We've also got a good supply of citronella candles and plug ins. That said we haven't seen a midge yet, nor did we last time we were here 4 years ago Of course David has to carry Adrenilin pens whenever he's outdoors because of his allergic reaction to we know not what, something stung him one day and he got treated in A&E so quickly my faith was restored in the efficiency of the NHS.
