Well, good day....World Cup was on TV the other day...USA won one of the matches and everyone in an pub rooting them on.

Working at getting the trip planned for the grandkids to go and see the baseball game...took the  kids "ChristmasFund" I save every year to my DIL...$100 to help for the motel costs, food and gasoline. Won' t go far but as I told her...get an motel with an complimentary breakfast bar and it's worth five kids having an decent meal before heading back. It looks like the motels around the the baseball field are already sold out....so I have no idea where they will stay overnight at...hubby gets his own room. I decided the quick 184 miles up there, to see the game and back, wasn' t my idea of "fun" in ways. Been there an done that sort of stuff already in my life...it's an hectic pace. I got my 2 dollar liscense fee to apply for an senior fishing liscense. It's histerical to watch me fish, my hubby...he's so nice and patient...he takes along swivels all set to go, so when I don't cast out right, it's an easy change on the rod. I'm still noviceas to doing this, but was going great guns when I had to stop it allfor other pursuits going on...this time I'm taking my camera also. Ever since I got it, I haven't had it with me for shooting pictures much. Hope I can get some good ones.

My sister brought over her van today...you guys would of raised your brows...she's never washed in two years. She had an vent in the car in the front of her front windshield....I had to take an screwdriverand pry up the packed in mud, with moss growing on it, then I took the power washer hose and blew out the tons fo pine needles...andfrom there we went to having to use window cleaner with an soft scrub for the little tiny mold marks on the windows....and in all I went over it three separate times with an few touch ups..before I got it shiney looking again. Did get her to do one window. I did not know she even had black glass windows in the rear. But shined up that's what color they became. I went over the  silver/chrome an couple of times also, the entire thing was moldy green spores...why I have no idea...she parks in an parking lot and doesn't sit under any pine trees that I can think of in her travels. But she got back, and she said that one of the ladies where she lives remarked to her how pretty her car was looking. Just the same, hope she keeps saving money for another replacement some day.

Long day, grandson stayed last night and tonight I have the granddaughter here.

Something kind of "different" about the High School shooting last week was said...firstly again, two different tales... automatic 15 mm rifle....it was in their room, and he noticed that it's container was missing...an common duffle bag. Not the same as the locker/cabinet it  was said to been in at home originally, they did not say why the brother owned it either. I smell something fishy going on in this as they did in "Sandy Hook" also. In that one the teacher sounded miltant more so then her shooter son. Same thing, innocent people killed and an whole arsenal of police units attached to the scene. Same thing with Kyle Horman's dissapearance, I'll bet they used an 100 people out looking for him, never an trace found.

Anyway...tired as all get out again...will use the time they are gone, one short day...to relax in. Talk later on.

No I'm not James, I love it up here, it's a bit like home only the hills are taller and there is less traffic, there are an awful lot on English people living here I've noticed Smile

That is something always surprised me Ruth, just how many English folk have moved north of the border. Several years we would have gone given the chance but the Lakes is now my first preference.

I'm wondering Dave just how many Scottish people will be voting in the September referendum. Most of the people we've met are either English or Polish, they are all residents so all have the right to vote. Scottish people not resident here don't have the vote - it should be interesting.

Besides the yard work this morning, the cleaning the truck and car, hubby got my fishing liscense sent in...so I can get it an go fishing if anything for an excuse to see the pristine lakes and have an nice camper's breakfast out in nature now and then. Things moving on for the Red Sox Baseball game...they are going to share the gasoline expenses....I gave the grandkids "christmas" fund...$102 to apply to the room she rents, and hubby's taking my moetl card with him if nothis AARP card fro his room...if they get an motel with an complimentry breakfast, for the five of them, that counts for another saving 25 to 50 dollars also. The game is an night game. But if they check in by say 3 pm, or so, they might get in some swimming also. It's going to be an hectic schedule at any rate....while I can watch it TV...for the price of monthly cable....looking to see if I can see them. I'm happy with that to be constantly on the go for 184 miles one way an back in 24 hours doesn't turn me on.

Next up...July 4th....thanks to the heavy rain last week, my one hanging pot of red/white/blue just isn't right now. I'm getting bad symptoms for an large quake as of yesterday also. Might be in California somewhere...not sure as I get signals through them from other places....esp SE Asia. Get prepared and be prepared these days at all times is what I tell others as well as myself. Thanks to the stolen items out of our shed...hubby got me four locks, for both sheds and both gates at the side of the house. Of course they already took things that I had to spare in the giving..last Saturday night.
