Well, I'm back also, not an very spectacular birthday this year...but then again is anything ever spectuarly good in my life these days...besides just more work to do. The dinner was OK" and that was about that, but it was priced better then I thought if would be an filled an lot of time...as to the casino..I plugged in an $20...and less then 3 mins later lost most of it...cashed in the remaining $3. and left. Saw our old neighbor while there, living in their super rich house these days....and some guy in his vietnam hat came up and talked to my husband in his Vietnam hat...that was about it, I bought an $25 Christmas picture at an antique shop for this winter and it was about normal fair for it's day price wise. A lot of old stuff and priced in the 100's of dollars also. Kettles, wash boards, butter churn, milk stirer jar for butter also...lots of old memory stuff. So that was an 8 hour drive/shop/dinner/play a game..... birthday engagement for me today...another year turns over. I go rest for now.

How true in ways Ron...I was up all last night....listened ot the radio and was stirring about...at 4:15 happened to look out the window and saw the dreaded toliet paper hanging from an branch of the tree...I think because I was awake....they took off earlier then would have otherwise, as we got very little of it..one roll to be exact.. But I hauled hubby out in his shirt to srtip it out of the bush and the tree, which did't make him to happy. Good thing the cops didn't come by I guess.

Ryan in earthboppin.net..started the board clean up by kicking out three people....James White..runs the "Sandy Kid's Theater", Trapper, who so discriminating to women it's next to unblievable....and Rig...who just kind of egg's things going on, including arguments. Another of our older members said...Thank God, they held one of the boards in an monopoly agruing with each other on everything imaginable...if not telling you how to think.

It's lightly raining here, so glad he got the paper out of the tree and I have no idea what all it was about...other then maybe my birthday?I had $40 saved, so you could say I paid for my own dinner and the money I lost lickety spilt in less then 3 mins time. The picture I picked up I may give away at Christmas as an gift...haven't made up my mind as of yet. Kind of the same old ususal "blah" stuff for me, take care of yourself in ways. I spent the last two days spending money on the grandkids and relatives...not on myself. That's the same old "blah" stuff as ususal also. But yes, nothing to break up, destroy or throw away like others generally do...at my expense. I'm operating on only an few hours of sleep..so I'm going back to sleep again...this week's radio shows don' t sound all that great to me. I should get plenty of sleep this week. I'll talk more later on....has anyone heard

how Pat's operation went?

  Evening to you all.

Ron said he is not keen on Father's day, just a money rip off day. I suppose in many a case this is so true- but not here though.

Presi, a new lens hood that is good in my book and that expensive card- oh no not in this house ! Do not forget this house oozzes craft in all shapes and form and card making is pretty well up there and I just had to share with you what was printed on the front. I quote the poem which my daughter found which is credited as unknown author and is on the front of the card with a teddy bear character called " Fuzzy Moon" who has a camera on a tripod and a remote flash to go with it- oh and there are inserted on the card a number of my photos that all mean something to us as a family.

The poem reads as follows and I quote  :-

" Life is like a Camera,

                      Focus on what is important,

                      Capture the good times,

                      Develop from the negatives,

And if things don't work out,

                       TAKE ANOTHER SHOT !  "

You won't get a card like that from Smiths or Clintons.

                             Thanks Lisa

I liked that poem also...I'm not sure who did the toliet paper.."Tipi" episode.... maybe we brought something back with us from the Indian Cascino. I've been talking to the various tribes for an lot of years now trying to help them...understand them.  But besides my hubby in his shirt...he was in his new boxers I finally got him convinced to wear some years ago. Maybe thier way of saying I'm included as one of them also.  Some of them like to play jokes in ways and always have. But at 4:15 am..it looked like an long python hanging down into the street. This makes the second time we have ever had to put up with it....I know..."Well, if you lived in an gated neighborhood"....etc. etc.... It would make me feel imprisoned I think. Maybe the same people swiped my red/white and blue potted flowers couple weeks ago?...I have no idea, other then I felt like I couldn't sleep for some reason last night. But my kitty..he probably knows. He sleeps near me, but often up above me looking out the front window. Today was off and on resting. We went out at lunch time to eat breakfast...Sheri's restruant was giving free pieces of pie to all the guys today. Brother and sister in-law wen tto the coast today. It seemed like Sunday. I guess I had best get going for now though. Hope we hear from Pat... and that he's recoperating well.
