Methinks you are correct John. The patent was for a ball point pen to write on the leather goods the tanner produced, but it was useless for writing on paper so got scrapped. The next patent was by Mr Biro, and  hose are the ones we use today.

Well done and over to you Smile

I haven't got my head round how many urban foxes there are yet, but life span, I would say in the countryside 6 to 8 years, urban ones maybe 18 months to 2 years ?

Now does John mean how many in his local family or the country?

Think five for the local family  , about 45 different species and how many in total Who Knows. I would agree with Ruth that the urban fox does not live so long but will still give him 3 years.

There might be around 33,000 urban foxes in the UK. They live for 2 to 3 years.
