John Constable painted scenes in Dedham Vale which is a river valley but I was looking for the Stour Valley because the book I was reading said,"The Stour Valley region was the was setting for many paintings by John Constable. The Stour Valley is a gentle landscape of lazy little rivers, quaint churches, country pubs and cricket on the village green." Dave was right but I was looking for the other right answer. Well done Ruth, over to you. Edited by: Ken Marshall at:9th August 2014 14:20 |
