Good Day "56"

No John, no likee at all. We've gone from a 2lt Turbo diesel injection, automatic VW Passat estate to a 1600 cc Nissan Qashqai manual. It's too small, it's underpowered, I have an old hockey injury from years ago and I've discovered that driving a manual car after years of automatics cripples me. Which means David has to do most of the driving otherwise I can't walk. I like driving so it's going to have to go. 

I have my eye on a particular model of Volvo, but we need a lottery win to afford it

Yes it looks like the attack of the greenies again.  I'm glad I wrote the narrative for the picture on a document first then if the picture vanishes at least I don't have to write it all out again.

I noticed the green box, oh dear what is happening!!!

Machynlleth is a lovely town from what I remember, going right back to the mid 60's and also within the last 12 years or so too
