Afternoon eveyone. A bit cooler here today thankfully, and we've had a bit of rain in the night so not so much watering to do. We seem to have made a slight mistake putting sweet peas in our hanging baskets though, they've taken over and seem to be killing everything else Frown

A bit cooler here as well, just because we decided to stay home and do jobs, like the washing and ironing.

i love sweet peas Ruth but have never heard of them in a hanging basket,

They are trailing ones Pat, so we assumed they'd be OK in the baskets, they look and smell lovely but everything else has died. You learn something every day, we know not to mix them with other flowers next year.

I'm no gardener James, but the little pea pod things growing on the sweet peas, are they to be collected for next year or do we just ignore them ?

Well would you believe it, we've just watered everything too. Our neighbours have been kind enough to leave the hose switched on so we can all use it instead of messing around with watering cans, and then the rain comes Frown

Mid-west is besought tonight with massive lightening storms and tornadoes from what the Weather Channel says. Legs are humming....so it's probably true.

Tv "sucks" tonight so far. Went to Reddit.com as they show local pictures of the storms most the time. I've never seen clouds like some of them are these days...so wild, they seem unreal in ways.

Didn't get much done today either, but we did throw away an chair and old love seat today...next weekend he promised me...the metal items that need to be sold will be given to an metal dealer.I'm going to "set one it" for any replace furniture for an while. I do need two charis though. May be an thrift shop find. Haven't had much energy here lately, how you revive your energy? Maybe I should look that one up in my healthbooks?...guys use electrolytes...but then are hiking also. Well, off I go, wonder what "talk radio" has on tonight.
