I thought of Eden but could only find a date of 1998 and of course 'Crane' as opposed to 'Craine' would be used in the construction .... but yet again I'm probably way out !! |

The Chateau de Guedelon somewhere in the Burgundy area being built over a 25 year period using only materials available in the 13th Century and by using only methods and tools from the time as well. |

The programme Sectets of the Castle with Ruth, Tom and Peter the archaeologists had its first episode last week on TV. There were a few 21st century cheats but on the whole it's a decent watch. Well done. |
