You might have it there Vince. I thought of Eden but could only find a date of 1998 and of course 'Crane' as opposed to 'Craine' would be used in the construction .... but yet again I'm probably way out !!

No where near so far - forget gardens or anything to do with gardens. Forget cranes and rust.

This project started in 1997 and is a 25 project. It is new but will be old Wink

No John, it's a structure with a name. Sandstone and Limestone are involved.

  Are we talking about the Medieval Castle being built in France?

 The Chateau de Guedelon somewhere in the Burgundy area being built over a 25 year period using only materials available  in the 13th Century and by using only methods and tools from the time as well.

We are Vince. The programme Sectets of the Castle with Ruth, Tom and Peter the archaeologists had its first episode last week on TV. There were  a few 21st century cheats but on the whole it's a decent watch. Well done.

      This place in 1803 saw what was to come in 1804 which was an event to change the world.

OK, let's gets started. First thing that came to mind was England declaring war on France in 1803  (I think) which started the Napoleonic Wars.
