I had all kinds of BBQ Ribs left over that I had and they were an "melt in your mouth" type goodie...only the sauce is full of sugar I guess you know. Ever since then they have pestered me, trying to make me into an diabetic. But anyway...I sweat it off pretty good today walking, sunny here, but an weather front hanging off the coast right now for tomarrow. They say another week of rain off and on, so the neighbor's outside laying down grass/lawn fertlizer. Other then that not an whole lot going on right now. I'm into christmas crafting right now..I found an old but terrific bird house. Had hubby help me repair it and I've been disintefecting it, and re-painting it. It's an "French Blue"with snow on it...and there's three hearts in the front of it I made cranberry red...and three little entries for small birds. It's not an small type bird house, at one time I bet it cost someone an pretty penny. I plan on giving it to my sister in-law for her mantel on her just bought fireplace not of long ago...it has an French look to it also. It's an huge one in it's own way also.It has an heater in it. They usually heat with an wood stove like most of us do in the winter, but it will alllow her an short term heat so she doesn't have to make an fire late at night...if she gets home an wnats to get into bed earlier cause of of her college classes. So besides the birdhouse, I'm doing candles for it also, the other end of the mantel... then we will add an nice garland of some kind over the top of it for Christmas. She's having guests for over Thanksgiving and I thought it would be nice to get some of this stuff over to her ahead of time. So things look nice. They went to Hood River today. Proabably needed some "get away" time. |
