I can see that now...".folks, today your going to have "grumpy weather" most the afternoon...then clearing an bit.".. I guess we have an partial eclipse going on right now, things turning kind of dark to be stormy an bit also.  Wind coming up as well. My kitty and I are hugging each other

I turned on our furnace the other day for the first time..seemed kind of cold getting up that day, so heated up the rooms and turned it back down for the rest of the day.

I didn't get much sleep last night, was just wide awake and hearing what sounded like an radio on somewhere. So thinking of laying down an bit...just returned from the sister in-law's house...nothing was really resolved and I know when it is, she will have got up and done it herself, cause I think that's what's really needed.  Hope she gets to it, so we don' thave to hear to much more about things. I did leave her an chair and an table, some Christmas items and gifts though before I left and her she got an call to some hopsital to help her son with an problem, so we broke it up early on. She says that my brother wants to divorce her, but since she has no way to support herself, he's wating for her to get through school and an job.  Right now I don' t think any guy could live with her...she's to opinionated in ways to make anyone an two-some an compatible couple. I think she's under more stress then what she let's on with also. But anyway. In all good time. Ah streets are getting wet fast now, so had better get going. Talk later on....

Just about the starting time of this eclipse today(1:10 pm.washington time)...an storm cell going through Longview, Washington went bizerk..and formed an tornado... an EF1..and ripped through several blocks of the city..no injuries, but buildings damaged, one with it's roof taken off and trees all over...including slight damage to an assisted senior citzens apartment house. People were so "shocked" this was happening up there several of them reported going outside and watching it go by them fairly close. They are not proned to this kind of weather. Someone filmed an large trash dumpster going down the street at race car speed...but it didn't life up in the air. I did lay down and took an nap..unusal for me also, but felt the need to do it today. So maybe things are back to normal again? I took care of one of the beds, but have another one to do so better get at it. They cancelled this weekend's Scout outting cause fo the weather. Like I was just telling my sister...when my son was in it, we had an lot fo senior scouts with knowledgable parents and the finacial means to

back up our troop...they never worried about rainstorms...they had one huge tent, they could place over any pic-nic table set up using several of them...and heated one end with an in ground campfire down low and the other end with an small portable wood stove on an rolling steel platform. Inside the tent was dry and warm and with lanterns they could both cook inside it and play games amoung the kids. All of our backpacks were along one side of the tent and kept dry also..and for those that brough cots, they could sleep inside all night long reguardless of the weather.  Troop we have now is an younger bunch of people not quite so expereinced...or as well equipt. Maybe the next time? I should beable to get in some walking time tomarrow morning before the rain returns.
