Most our leaves are now off our trees out front..I'd rather put up with the leaves then the heat waves in the summer that use to come up off the asphalt street. Some day hope to top our trees, but they serve to keep the other trees that are big should they ever blow over from hitting our house and cars out front. Until then, have to put my trust in God that these trees can survive as they should..standing tall. I go tmy bedroom cleaned up and couldn' tgo to sleep last night I was wide awake at 3 am..then miss kitty decided to come and sleep with me and I wok eup this morning feelin glike my feet were an piece of crumpled up aluminium foil...and they hurt. My daughter in-law gave me the Christmas quilt she just made, look sgreat, put it on sissy bed for now and I tend to end up with both cats sleepiing on the other side of me if they get cold in the night...they like my furrytop cover. Trying to get ahold of my sister in-law before she goes in for her MRI tomarrow...so far, not answering the phone. Her and my brother are not getting along...I hope he didn't throw her out last night when he came in, and I understand he has another job to start next week also. Maybe ti might help thier present relationship? I think they are both under to much strees right now, which doesn't help things. Other then that, cloudy but dry..but not suppose to stay that way for very long...and Thanksgiving is starting...by tomarrow the turkey goes in the refrigerator for slowly thawing out. Some shopping to do and then start the cooking and picking up the sister..and delivering stuff also. I go for now...I ended up buying new boots at an 50 per cent discount going on right now. That's ok, because these are dress boots and my other are older boots and look like witchy boots...I think I'm pretty much ready to pack the small overnighter and I'm ready. |

I went to take my sister to the dollar store the other day, I decided to back up and try another closer parking space. I felt an slight bump but stopped immediately..and drove forward again...I looked at the SUV behind me and didn't see any damage on it, but I have about an two inch strip of paint missing off the top of my bumper...which is not dented in or any damage either. Hubby thinks it was high enough maybe I scraped under an tire well or the undercarriage itself. At any rate...I have that on my mind also. I had no idea what store the person was in, didn't have to file an accident report, and I know the car insurance for me would never amount to the deductible we have. Perhaps this is what happens when you put two bigger cars in these little spaces these days. Finally I woke up this morning with my foot feeling like the cat had slept on top of it all night long...I'm trying to work that out so I can "walk" start the Holidays...my brother is expecting his daughter and family up this week. So things are just beginning for the cooking part for me.. and the final shopping. I was talking to my brother and an big clap of thunder knocked the phone connection off...where it came from is beyond me at the moment. She will be in the hospital for an day or so I'm told. We don't need these kinds of things going on right now. Hopefully the probems... go away.... and stay away! No way to begin an Holiday Season. Now you see why I go off diet at times, all this has been stressful to me also...my "comfort" to myself... comes from the food I don' t need right now...because there's not a lot I can do on the other things. My house is clean enough I can now acccept overnight guests. Which starts mid-week coming. After that the final decorations on the two trees and the wall over the table/livingroom. All the bedrooms are done. Talk later on. |
