 Leatherhead Food Research.

Knew someone who voluntered there for a while, did not work out too well as she did not mentioned about something she could not consume with the inevitable result.

The establishment is just down the road from the Crematorium.

I'm thinking this might be the Cornish Rebellion of 1497, the lawyer is Thomas Flamank and the blacksmith Michael An Gof, the rebellion was to do with taxes.

Straight in there Ruth- correct and well done.

There was a battle on Guildown on the outskirts of Guildford- there is a monument there in English and Cornish but I have never managed to get there yet. A final battle took place at Blackheath where they were defeated and the two leaders were taken to London where they were hung drawn and Quartered.

By the by Ruth, did you check out that pic on Cornwall cam and was it where I thought it was?

Yes I did check out the pic Vince and you were correct. Also I never answered you about the reservoir overflow, sorry Embarassed yes it does freeze over quite often. The reservoir above that one is frozen all down the overflow wall today, it's just an impossible place to park to try and get a picture. Walking is not a good idea in this ice.

I'll be back with a quizzy.

We were notorious gang operating in the second half of the 18th century.

What were we called, what did we do, and where were we ?
