Hope you're okay Sue and it's just that you can't get internet connection or that your PC isn't working. Either way know that we are thinking of you dear friend.

I too have thought of Sue , every time pics of birds come on I wonder if she has seen them. Nice and sunny here and been outside taking shots of a tree this morning- only it is made of wire and gemstones hand crafted by a certain someone. |

Is this "Christmas overload" or what? We got the dining room straightened out and dishwasher number one is washing now, I'll do all the glasses by hand...took sister back to her house. Kids were going to go and look at Christmas lights tonight...so many of these places now hold things over until the New Year because of the weather these days. By next Tuesday temperatures drop down below freezing at night again. Well, time to relax an bit before it's back to the diet again....talk later on. All you travelers stay safe!!! |

It's dry and cold here, I'm wondering if the snow that has been forecast is going to arrive. Ron, very concerned about Sue H, we haven't heard from her in a while. Sue and myself are the same age and she's gone through so much up to me. I just hope that it's an Internet issue and that she is OK. Fingers crossed, I'm sure we'll be the first to know if you hear from her. Edited by: rustyruth at:26th December 2014 16:30 |
Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 19:02 on 26th December 2014 Last we heard of Sue H, she had moved to Las Vegas I think it was...last I talked to an Sue, (my old neighbor) she had just gotten back from Hawaii, I asked her what she's been doing and she said traveling all over the world...she just got home for the holidays. That was mid-December. But both these Sue's sound a lot alike Yes, I enjoyed Christmas dinner Ron, it was pretty good this year. Have eaten to many cookies though...but even those I enjoyed. This morning finds me taking down the Christmas decorations off our porch, as they say an cold east wind will be blowing for several days coming up here soon. Have hubby taking down the lighted garland up along the top of the ceiling in the entryway and I think I can pretty much get the rest of it all..cause he won't be here due to the Christmas tree recycle...and I'll leave the Christmas tree to take down on New Year's Day together when he is here...by then he will be another year older. It seems to go faster when one's taking down and handing it to another to put into the ornament box. I'm washing clothes now to bring them up to date, and hope I can get to Kohl's and pay them something on my credit card...before that wind kicks in. That wind is why I was glad to leave the Troutdale area in the past. Unless you live in an sheltered area, it blows cold and hard. They did pick up 11 inches of new snow yesterday at Mt. Hood. They have an long ways to go before the snow pack is acceptable for over summer next year. Talk to you all later on...there's word we have people that have moved or on the go... that we have no way to contact in several websites besides POE right now also. Hope they check in soon.
